1. Food Industry (Food-grade Propylene Glycol):
Used as a humectant, solvent, emulsifier, and stabilizer in fragrances, flavorings, food colorings, baked goods, and antifreeze formulations, exhibiting good safety and food contact compatibility.
2. Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Industries:
Used as a drug solvent, ointment base, and antibacterial preservative carrier in pharmaceuticals; and as a humectant and lubricant in cosmetics, commonly found in lotions, creams, shampoos, and toothpastes. It is mild, non-irritating, and has good hygroscopic properties.

Used as an electronic coolant and heat transfer medium in environmentally friendly de-icing fluids and thermal energy storage systems.
